These plants are grown and shipped in a 5” deep square pots. Limited quantity. Larger seedlings are shipped out first on a first come first served basis. Seedlings range from 3”-4” tall with multiple leaves like the one shown in the picture.
Note: only grafted trees make fruits that are exactly the same as their parent trees. Seedling trees may show traits which are different from the parent trees to varying degrees
General Info
Guabiju is native to South America where it is widely cultivated for its edible fruits. The leaves have medicinal value, while the plant itself is quite ornamental.

35’ - 60’ tall in its native range.
Growing Conditions
Full sun or partial shade. Plants are slow growing
Years to Fruit
Guabiju can fruit in as little as 4 years, but it can take longer.
Taste
Fruits are said to be quite tasty with a unique flavor, sort of like jaboticaba.
Climate
Sub-Tropical, tropical at higher elevations
Cold Tolerance
Mature trees are said to be quite cold tolerant, handling down to 20F according to some reports.
